Hire of Electrically-heated Hot Boxes (Hawbank and Canderside)

Tender description

South Lanarkshire Council requires to conduct market engagement to identify suitable providers to be invited to an Open Tender for hiring of two Electrically-heated Hot boxes required at two depot locations within the Council area. It is the Council's intention to award the open tender to a single provider for hiring of the Hotboxes and the subsequent servicing and maintenance that will be required through the lifetime of the contract. Lot 1: The Council intends to proceed with an Open Tender procedure for the long term hire of two Electrically-heated Hot Boxes with a minimum 18 tonne capacity. It should be noted that South Lanarkshire Council are adopting a Prior Information Notice as best practice for this Open Tender tender procedure. This PIN notice will be utilised to identify suitably qualified providers to be invited to tender for the hire of Electrically-heated Hotboxes and their subsequent servicing and maintenance throughout their expected lifecycle.
