Tender description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (NWSSP ProcS), hosted by Velindre NHS Trust, invites tenders on behalf of NHS Wales to appoint suitably qualified supplier(s) for Blood Collection Systems. This procurement will involve the establishment of a Framework Agreement. The duration of this contract will be four years with an option to extend for further two years (maximum six years). Please refer to the ITT documentation found at https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.shtml Lot 1: Specimen Collection Tubes (Evacuated) including Support Products and Collection Sets Specimen Collection Tubes (Evacuated) including Support Products and Collection Sets. Support products includes, tube holders and transfer devices Lot 2: Specimen collection, non-evacuated tubes, and support products A tube used to collect a capillary or low draw blood specimen obtained through venepuncture. Specifically in babies, small children, or patients with difficult veins. Lot 3: Arterial Blood Gas syringes Used to take blood samples from an artery to determine levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood Lot 4: Lancets – Finger incision Used to puncture the skin to obtain a small blood specimen Lot 5: Lancets – Heel incision Used to puncture the skin of small children and babies to obtain a small blood specimen Lot 6: Non-safety neonate needles Used in paediatrics for the collection of a blood specimen
