However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) seeks to acquire a laser turning mirror specifically designed for use in an in-vacuo laser pulse compressor system. This system is part of the Extreme Photonics Applications Centre (EPAC) Project located at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in the UK.
