West Suffolk Council are currently out to tender for the provision of Invitation to Tender for an Architect, Lead Consultant and Heritage Consultant - THE ABBEY OF ST EDMUND: A Millennium of English History in West SuffolkTender return deadline is 1500hours on 20 August 2024. Interested parties are invited to express their interest to gain full access to the tender documentation.The deadline for clarification questions is 1500hours on 06 August 2024, which must be generated via the correspondence option on the website Lot 1: West Suffolk Council (WSC) ("the Council", "We" or "Us") is inviting Tenders, on behalf of the Partnership, to appoint an Architect, Lead Consultant with Consultant Design Team, and Heritage Consultant to support a Round 1 (Development Phase) National Lottery Heritage Fund (Heritage Fund LHF) project at The Abbey of St Edmund in Bury St Edmunds. This is a project partnership between St Edmundsbury Cathedral, West Suffolk Council and English Heritage (see separate Consultancy Brief), the Council is the lead authority for the purposes of this Invitation to Tender (ITT) and the ensuing Contract will be with St Edmundsbury Cathedral. The Consultant is expected to continue to provide their services for Round 2 of the project, subject to fulfilling the terms of the contract.
