Tender description

To support NHS England's mandate, NHS England has been commissioning expert organisations since 2014 to enable sixth form students from low socio-economic backgrounds across England to participate in Access to Medicine summer school programmes. The support begins in Year 11 and is continued until they graduate from university and enter employment. The target is for 900 students to go through the Access to Medicine programme in 2024/5 and 2025/26, from locations across England including local authorities with higher rates of poverty and lower rates of progression to higher education. The intention is to award a contract for a period of 2 years. The maximum financial envelope for this activity is £1,000,050 exc. VAT.
