Tender description
The commission will develop proposals for improvements at two key gateway junctions for Warrington Town Centre: (a) A49 (Mersey Street)/Dial Street roundabout (b) Parker Street/A5061 (Liverpool Road) junction (including approaches) The improvements would reflect the aspirations of the First and Last Mile Transport Masterplan (F&LM TM), published in 2021. The proposals should be sufficiently developed so that they would meet the eligibility criteria of future funding opportunities from the government, for example Active Travel Fund (ATF), Local Transport Fund (LTF) or equivalent government funding sources.
