Provider event date: Thursday 18th July 2024 North Northamptonshire Council are pleased to advertise that we will be going out to tender for a new Children and Young People's service. Our current service is Northamptonshire wide (both West and North). The offer includes the health visiting and school nursing services, Family Nurse Partnership (FNP), Infant feeding service, a universal 0-5 offer and NCMP Services. The service as of April 2025 will be North Northamptonshire only. North Northamptonshire has a population of 359,525. In 2021, 85,659 were aged 0-19 years. In 2043, at the end of the ONS population projection, North Northamptonshire is estimated to have a population of 418,215, an increase of 16.3% (n=58,700). In recent years the population has also become increasingly diverse. In 2021 there were 3,789 live births in North Northamptonshire. What the event is about? This market engagement event is focused on the Public Health Children and Young People's service. The event is designed to introduce and discuss our upcoming commissioning opportunities which aim to enhance the health and wellbeing offer to Children, Young People and their families. Key highlights - Understanding need: Understand the needs within the population and the recommendations as per the Children and Young People's needs assessment. - Service model: Gain insights into the proposed model and scope of the new Children and Young People health service initiative. - Financial envelope: Understand the financial envelope attached to the service. - Questions and Answers: An opportunity to ask questions relating to NNC and the model. - Procurement: The procurement process in NNC.
