Play Activity for Children with a Disability

Tender description

Quotations are invited by the Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") from Suppliers with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity to deliver community play activities for children with a disability, whose needs would mean they struggle to access existing provision in the Kirklees area. Typical examples of need may include, but are not exclusive to: • Support with personal care. • Management of behaviours that challenge. • Communication needs. • Sensory needs. This contract is anticipated to commence on the 12th July 2024 and will expire on 11th July 2025 with the provision to extend for a further 12 months to 11th July 2026, subject to funding approval. A maximum budget of £64,000.00 (Twenty Four Thousand Pounds) is available across two localities, per annum. • £32,000.00 North Kirklees Based Activity • £32,000.00 South Kirklees Based Activity Tenderers should indicate in the Supplier's Submission Document which locality they are tendering for. The Council intends to award a contract in respect of each locality. Interested Parties may quote for one or both localities. We are particularly interested to hear from organisations who can evidence a positive track record of engagement with parents, carers and children, which has resulted in achieving full participation at activities they have delivered.
