The Council has a requirement for an ongoing number of maintenance and refurbishment works to individual properties on a one-off basis. The works typically involve bringing a house up to the required living standards following a fire, significant tenant alterations or the inability to gain access to carryout normal planned maintenance works. Work will generally be domestic, however small corporate works maybe undertaken where work content is similar. The average value of work is 60,000 GBP and currently around 10 projects are occurring each year. Experience in carrying out multi trade construction work to a deadline is essential.
