Fife Council is looking to engage with potential Solar Water Heating Systems Service and Maintenance suppliers. The Services required will be set out in the scope for each individual work package for the repair and maintenance of solar water heating systems to properties across Fife, Lot 1: The Services required will be set out in the scope for each individual work package for the repair and maintenance of solar water heating systems to properties across Fife, These may include but are not limited to: Bi-annual inspection check and service of all components Drain down and dispose of old fluid New transfer fluid to system Remove and replace damaged flat plate type solar collector Remove and replace damaged evacuated tube type solar collector Remove and replace damaged roof fixings Remove and replace degraded roof insulation Remove and replace faulty roof sensors Remove and replace faulty air removal devices Remove and replace faulty pump and controls Remove and replace faulty expansion vessels Re-pressurise systems Remove and replace corroded pipework as required Remove and replace damaged pipe insulation Remove and replace faulty temperature sensors Remove and replace faulty check valves Remove and replace faulty heat exchangers Remove and replace faulty PRV discharge container Remove and replace faulty heating programmer Remove and replace faulty drainback vessels Remove and replace faulty controller / display units Commissioning system including provision of Commissioning certificate Recording hours run in the System log Investigating causes if system has overheated Explaining of solar water heating system and controls to customers Preparing ‘as-built’ drawings for amended systems Covering all of the following areas.
