The Drainage Works Framework 2023 (SC22331) is used to support Kent County Council's current contracts (Highway Term Maintenance Contract, Road Asset Renewal Contract and others) to maintain it network. Works under £25k are awarded via direct award on a rotation basis. Works over £25k are awarded via a mini-competition process. This notice pertains to a mini-competition exercise that was carried out under the Drainage Works Framework 2023. Details of this mini-competition are below listed below: Aim: to find a Contractor to deliver the Chevening Road, Chevening scheme. Dates: The scheme needs to be delivered between 29 May 2024 to 30 June 2024 - The scheme is to deliver the following outputs: • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 64.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth. • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 20.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth. • Crew to replace 1 x damaged gully with 1 x new precast gullies as per KCC/HTW/500/009 including new 450 x 450 GG & F connect onto main current pipework with 1.0m of 150mm uPVC pipe on bed type Z as per KCC/HTW/500/051 drawing, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.0m. • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 20.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth. • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 62.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth • Crew to remove 2 x manholes and continue new 225mm pipework on • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 24.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 24.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth • Crew required to replace poor, rooted 150mm (Full length) with 53.0m of 225mm uPVC drain on bed type Z to KCC/HTW/500/051, average depth to invert not exceeding 1.5m depth. 30mph, 5.5m width, SLG.
