Royal Borough of Greenwich invite providers to a market engagement event on 25th June 2024 from 14:30 – 16:00 BST. This will be held virtually via MS Teams. Background to the programme The Royal Borough of Greenwich (The Council) and South East London Integrated Care Board (The ICB) have experimented with some assistive technology enabled care (ATEC) in recent years and have been on a journey over the past 18 months to co-produce with staff and residents a new, integrated vision and operating model for ATEC in Greenwich. We now want to fully operationalise ATEC as a core part of our health and care services. Our motivation for this is to improve independence and quality of life for our residents, while responding to continued financial pressure in our systems. By integrating technology into health and care, we aim to provide early intervention, support self-care, use technology to help people with everyday living activities, and to help people feel safe and supported in their own homes. What we’re looking for Our vision for the new ATEC service is: • For data to be used in new, radically innovative ways to change how health and care is offered in Greenwich. • To empower our residents, their loved ones and communities to improve their lives through technology and use their strengths and assets • To modernise our health and care services, upskilling our teams and improving health and care markets through innovation We are looking for a future-looking provider who deeply understands our desire to work in modern, strengths-based and people-centred ways, away from old-style community equipment and deficit-models to newer, nimble and tailored service offers, backed up with data. We’re looking for providers who can use their experience in the health and care technology market to navigate this changing landscape, prioritising resident outcomes to drive innovation and deliver a transformative and value driven service.
