Tender description

Sport England is required o establish and maintain arrangements for internal audit in accordance with the Treasury's Public Sector Internal Audit Standards (the Standards). The Standards state that 'a professional, independent and objective internal audit service is one of the key elements of good governance, as recognised throughout the Public Sector.' As an Arms-Length Body, Sport England needs to ensure it makes effective arrangements for internal audit and comply with the Government Functional Standard 009 - Internal Audit. The purpose of internal audit is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of governance, risk management and control. Sport England has procured the supplier to provide its internal audit services. There is an option to extend by a further year.
