Contract 15 - Supply of Building Material 2024

Tender description

This Framework Contract will ensure availability of suitable Suppliers for the supply ofVarious Building materials goods required and as detailed in the Specification included within the Tender Documents. It is anticipated the Contract will commence on 1st September 2024. The Framework is for an initial 24 month period with the option to extend for up to a further two, twelve month periods. A mini competition will be carried out annually between the successful Contractors which may result in re-ranking of suppliers. The Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract. The Framework consists of the following 9 lots and a maximum of 3 Contractors will be appointed on each Lot. There is no limit to the number of Lots you can bid for, where you are unable to provide a price for a product, the Authority will apply the highest price submitted from all bids submitted. Tenderers (Bidders) must price at least 80% of each Lot being applied for, the Lots are as follows: Lot 1 - Bricks, Sand & Cement, Plaster, Plasterboard,and Small Aggregates Lot 2 - Floor and Wall Tiles Lot 3 - UPVC Trim Lot 4 - Tools Lot 5 - Hardware Lot 6 - Gas Bottles Lot 7 -Sundries and Miscellaneous Lot 8 -Roofing Materials Lot 9 -Sealants and Adhesives Interested bidders must access the Tender documents for further information, which are available to download. a guide is included to assist you locating the Tender documents. NOTE TO SUPPLIERS – The Authority is waiting for the final versions of the following sections of the Tender documents however, have issued the Tender to allow suppliers to be gathering relevant information to submit a response. These documents will be updated as soon as possible and in any event prior to the Tender deadline with the final versions. All information will be made public to interested suppliers. CONDITIONS:- 3.
