Breastfeeding in the Community

Tender description

The overarching aim of this contract is to develop and promote Breastfeeding Awareness across Sheffield as a city. The successful provider will be expected to cooperate and collaborate with other organisations/ health/community/NHS providers involved in the process of providing an infant feeding service to antenatal and postnatal mothers. The Breastfeeding Friendly Award was developed to identify public places and workplaces in the city that offer a good level of facilities and support for women and their babies when breastfeeding. The contract holder will continue to develop the progress already made in Sheffield by offering support and engagement to a wide range of Sheffield workplaces and public places/spaces, to encourage them to achieve the Breastfeeding Friendly Award.
