Provider Event - North Northamptonshire Council - Public Health - Children and Young Peoples Services

North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are pleased to advertise that we will be going out for tender for a new Children and Young People's Services. Our current service is County Wide, incorporating North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council. The service provision includes Health Visiting & School Nursing, Family Nurse Partnership (FNP), Universal 0-5 years and Children and Young People emotional and wellbeing services. Please note: All the above service requirements will commence 1st April 2025 for North Northamptonshire Council (North Northamptonshire only). North Northamptonshire has a population of 359,525. In 2021, 85,659 were aged 0-19 years. In 2043, at the end of the ONS population projection, North Northamptonshire is estimated to have a population of 418,215, an increase of 16.3% (n=58,700). In recent years the population has also become increasingly diverse. In 2021 there were 3,789 live births in North Northamptonshire. What the event is about? We are looking to explore what providers across the country are delivering in other local authorities as a mechanism for understanding innovation within the scope of Children and Young People services. The event will provide the opportunity to: • Share your learning and experiences • Discuss key priorities within these services • Share our expected approaches to awarding contracts for these services. • Gain your feedback to shape our requirements before we commence the procurement process. When and where? The session will be virtual events (on MS Teams), led by The NNC Commissioning Team and NNC Procurement Colleagues, to explore service redesign options and discuss the tender processes.
