Tender description

Forestry Tree Pre-harvesting chainsaw operations within the main block of Kielder Forest, North England Forest District including Redesdale, Falstone, Kielder and Wark to assist the mechanical tree harvesting programme undertaken by our ‘in-house’ teams. Lot 1: The Forestry Commission requires Tree Pre-harvesting Chainsaw Operational works to be carried out on tree harvesting sites within the main block of Kielder Forest, North England Forest District, to assist the mechanical tree harvesting programme undertaken by our ‘in-house’ teams. The necessity and volume of this work will be dictated by site specific conditions and will be coordinated by both the Harvesting and Marketing (H&M) Forester and H&M Supervisor.
