Anglian Water are considering options for Biodiversity and Nature based Solutions across our Estate, River and Wetland environments. Anglian Water open an online market engagement questionnaire and additional sessions (if required) during May -June 2024. This will provide interested suppliers with an opportunity to obtain further information relating to Anglian Waters requirements and provide Anglian Water with the opportunity to gain feedback from the market. Details will be issued online following the responses received from the expression of interest via the Scanmarket portal- link attached for free supplier self registration: https://esourcing.scanmarket.com/SupplierRegistration/NewSupplier?eventId=680719&ccsum=5c9a274890d5684a43a5fda4ae2d6fe8 Lot 1: Land: Habitat Creation, Restoration & Management Anglian Water Services Ltd ("Anglian Water") Anglian Water is considering how it may procure Biodiversity Services, Management and Nature based Solutions (including Wetland and River Restorations)as per the given list under the scope but not limited to: Lot 1 ➢Grassland creation, restoration and management (e.g. cut and collect) ➢Turf stripping ➢Woodland creation, restoration and management (e.g. coppicing and pollarding) ➢Tree planting and management (e.g. watering and replacing dead whips) ➢Tree crown reduction, topping, canopy raising, removal of limbs and chipping (aerial work) ➢Tree pruning from ground level using mechanised equipment (e.g. overhead trees). ➢Tree felling (aerial work) and Tree felling (from the ground) ➢Tree stump services (e.g stump grinding, stump pulling and chemical treatment) ➢Veteranisation of trees (e.g. ring barking and limb ripping) ➢Scrub creation, restoration and management ➢Peatland or bog restoration and management ➢Fen creation, restoration and management ➢Orchard creation, restoration and management ➢Supalittoral rock and sediment restoration and management ➢Hedgerow planting, laying (livestock proof), restoration, management ➢Hedgerow removal ➢Tree chipping, stacking, brash pile creation ➢Livestock / nature reserve fence construction and maintenance ➢Bird box/ Bat Box installation and management ➢Bug hotel, hedgehog tunnels, construction/installation and maintenance ➢Badger gate construction and/or installation and management Lot 2: Water: Habitat Creation, Restoration and Management Anglian Water Services Ltd ("Anglian Water") Anglian Water is considering how it may procure Biodiversity Services, Management and Nature based Solutions (including Wetland and River Restorations)as per the given list under the scope but not limited to: Lot 2 ➢Standing open water habitat creation, restoration and management (e.g. ponds and wetland creation).To include dry ditch services. ➢River and stream restoration and management ➢Treatment wetlands creation and maintenance ➢Reedbed restoration and maintenance ➢Floating islands, construction, installation and maintenance ➢Floating islands, construction, installation and maintenance ➢Peatland or bog restoration and management ➢Bird hide and board walk construction and maintenance ➢Tern raft construction, installation and maintenance ➢Bird cover crops - including deep ploughing, seeding and managing ➢Otter holt and mink raft installation and maintenance
