Adoption Support – Family Therapy

Tender description

The Council is procuring an Adoption Support: Family Therapy service. The provision of family therapy plays a crucial role in helping children and their adoptive families to develop strong lasting relationships and attachments, therefore preventing adoption breakdowns and improving short and long term outcomes for adopted children. The successful Provider will support no less than 40 families per year with family therapy and each family therapist will deliver 24 hours of therapy per month as a minimum. The council proposes to enter into the contract for an initial period of THREE years with the successful tenderer. There are TWO optional extensions of up tp 12 months each. These optional extensions are at the complete discretion of the council. The initial annual Contract value is £38,685.00 excluding VAT. There will be an annual inflationary uplift. The estimated approximate value of the contract over the three-year term plus 2 x twelve month extensions is £196,000 excluding VAT. Extension and uplift amounts are indicative only and the council does not guarantee these at this stage. Any extensions / uplifts will be confirmed with successful providers.
