Thames - Service of Sumps & Sump Pumps at Thames Barrier & Associated Gates This project relates to the service for all 59 sump pumps at Thames Tidal Defences site and 1 Macerator pump at KGV, the service is vital to ensure the equipment are serviced and maintained regularly to remain functional. If you are interested in this tender, please register your interest on the above portal by 26/01/2024. It's the intention to award a 4-year contract (2+2), extension will be based on supplier performance, funding availability and project needs. Please note the supplier's on-site team will be required to have a minimum of CTC clearance, before the contract award. The baseline standard acceptable is a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC). To meet national security vetting requirements for CTC, the applicant will normally need to have been resident in the UK for for a minimum of 3 years out of the last 5 years, prior to the date of application and pass the Baseline Personnel Security Standard ( BPSS ) first, which your organisation will need to pay for.The Environment Agency will then provide the details of how to obtain the CTC clearance and will pay for the application. If the preferred supplier can’t submit the CTC application within the required timeline or failed to obtain the clearance, it will move to the next supplier in the rank as long as their bid is still valid.
