Southampton EIP Market Engagement Workshops

Market Engagement- Early Intervention and Prevention services: Southampton City Council commissions a range of "Early Intervention and Prevention services" designed to provide the city's residents with information, advice, guidance, and support with matters which support their wellbeing. This includes support relating to finance, benefits, immigration matters, and special educational needs; support for residents who may be unsure which services are best placed to meet their needs, as well as befriending services for those who may be particularly vulnerable or at risk of social isolation. A number of relevant service contracts are due to expire in the next year and it is the Council's intention to undertake a procurement exercise relating to this type of service provision during the next 12 months. Existing and potential suppliers of such services are invited to participate in a series of four market engagement workshops "in person" that are taking place between January 2024 and May 2024 to assist the Council in the development of its commissioning intentions for the future of these services. Each workshop will have a different focus and suppliers are invited to attend as many as they wish. It is intended that recordings of the content of each workshop will subsequently be made available for those organisations unable to attend. This prior information notice is not the start of a procurement process and interested provider organisations should note it is neither the intention nor purpose of the engagement events to confer any advantage to participants regarding any future procurement process. Workshop2: (Priorities for the Future) Thursday 22nd February 2024, 9.30am-11.30am, Civic Centre, Civic Centre Rd, Southampton SO14 7LY Workshop3 (Opportunities for Increased Joint Working and Collaboration): Wednesday 13th March 2024, 3pm-5pm, Southampton Voluntary Services, Kingsland Square, St Mary's Street, Southampton SO14 1NW Workshop 4: (Summary of feedback and next steps), Wednesday 8th May 2024, 2pm - 4pm, Civic Centre, Civic Centre Rd, Southampton SO14 7LY To request attendance, and for any queries relating to the workshops, venues access and parking, please email Market.Development@southampton.gov.uk to register your interest by the end of Wednesday 24th January 2024. Due to venue capacity, we can only offer 2 spaces per organisation for each workshop, and depending on the number of registrations we may have to review this closer to each workshop date.
