British council corresponding to the question has been change to 26th January 2024. <br /><br />We invite you to forward us an quotation for an implementation of a Solar PV system for the British Council Colombo office. These services are to be provided to the British Council, a leading Education and Childcare Client whom has significant pipeline work through Asia Pacific The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. The British Council operates in six continents and over 100 countries, bringing international opportunity to life, every day <br />This system is intended to generate electricity for a minimum of 15 years. The objective is to complete the installation before March 20, 2024. The primary power source for the British Council is a 400kVA CEB transformer within the premises, supplemented by a backup generator with a 550kVA capacity. The Solar PV system is anticipated to operate under either net metering or net accounting.<br />We kindly request your engineering team to conduct a site inspection and provide a quotation based on the specifications outlined below. While we believe these specifications are optimal for the British Council, we welcome any suggestions from your engineering team that could potentially enhance power generation capacity or reduce costs without compromising quality and health and safety standards.<br /> Identified Roofs: 7 different roofs for solar panel installation.<br /> Inverters: Four 50kW units will be centrally positioned in the existing power room. The power room is equipped with 24/7 air-conditioning, maintaining a constant temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. Electronic monitoring and recording systems are in place to track both temperature and humidity levels.<br /> Expected PV Generation: 189.84 kVA<br /> Battery Backup: We have opted not to include a battery backup due to the generation capacity not meeting our current day time needs.<br /> Bill of Quantities (BOQ): We have provided a BOQ, and any suggested changes should be clearly stated with accompanying reasons. Additionally, product specifications, quantity, cost. ( Annex b)<br />To ensure value for money, British Council will compare CIF prices directly from manufacturers with local prices.<br /><br />
