Provision of in-country Events Management, Logistics Services and Professional Services for UKHSA staff and contractors in Nigeria. Lot 1: Provision of in-country Events Management, Logistics Services and Professional Services for UKHSA staff and contractors in Nigeria.<br/><br/>UKHSA’s International Health Regulations (IHR) Strengthening Project is enhancing global health security by strengthening the capability and capacity of public health institutions in Africa and Asia to comply with the WHO IHR (2005) to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats such as COVID. <br/><br/>The Project is working with the government and public health institutions in Nigeria, including the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) as part of this work. <br/><br/>UKHSA is seeking a supplier who can support the delivery of objectives of the project in Nigeria.<br/><br/>The projects model includes Senior Public Health Advisors, Technical Advisors and Project Management staff based in Nigeria. UKHSA staff based in the UK will also deploy on a frequent basis to Nigeria to deliver project outputs and will be involved in contract management of the supplier.<br/><br/>The supplier will provide support to UKHSA with events management and logistical arrangements for the organisation of conferences, training events and workshops (e.g. organising national and regional travel, booking accommodation, venue booking and event coordination). In addition the supplier will attract, recruit and employ technical staff to support the work programme.
