THE PROVISION OF UNPAID CARERS SUPPORT SERVICE

Haringey Council ("the Council") is in the process of commissioning the provision of Unpaid Carers Support Service. The service will operate within specific neighbourhoods or localities across the London Borough of Haringey, focusing on providing information, advice, guidance, and outreach support to eligible carers residing in these areas. The new provision is required to enhance accessibility and service delivery through the implementation of digital support services tailored to the needs of carers in specific localities. The Council is keen to consult and engage the provider market in the commissioning process and is inviting interested organisations to a pre-procurement market engagement Event. This event will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on: Date: Monday, 13th May 2024 Time: 14:30 GMT The aim of this event is to consult with current and prospective providers on the service and how it will continue to support Haringey residents. The market engagement event will include a presentation of the Council's commissioning intentions, overview of the anticipated requirements and the proposed procurement process. It will also offer potential service providers the opportunity to raise any questions or present any views prior to proceeding to the procurement process. The Council is committed to working with the marketplace to maximise the commissioning opportunities under this contract and therefore would encourage all current and prospective providers to attend.
