The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region is critical to driving UK growth. Yet, at the same time, many in our communities struggle to access the opportunities that will enable them to thrive. The role that Skills play in addressing this dilemma is central to what will make our region reach its full potential. The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (the CPCA) is set to release an Adult Education Budget (AEB) and Free Course for Jobs Level 3 (FCFJ) tendering opportunity in the coming months, to deliver Skills course provision across a range of sectors that are critical to the region’s economic success and wellbeing - including Digital, Construction, Life Sciences, and Health. The CPCA covers the Local Authority areas of Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council, Peterborough City Council, Fenland District Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The CPCA intends to procure high quality adult education and training. This market engagement session is open to suitable Independent Training Providers and will focus on providing an overview of our chosen procurement process.
