Active Partnership for Eastbourne and Lewes

Tender description

This Contract was a Direct Award without competition. The aim of the service is to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities in Eastbourne and Lewes (and now Wealden) by increasing access and participation in physical activity interventions. To utilise physical activity as a driver for community development and building on social capital and to develop the physical activity sector through effective communication, networking and capacity building whilst building the physical activity evidence at a local level. This contract was modified to include provision of an Active Partnership for Wealden with the same aims of those in Eastbourne and Lewes. The 12 month extension option has been utilised.
