In January 2024 the Department for Culture, Media and Sport published the following Prior Information Notice (PIN) https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/000712-2024 regarding a planned procurement exercise for the “Provision of a professional events and project management services in respect of a number of Royal Ceremonial events in London”.<br/><br/>Since publication of that PIN and following the subsequent market engagement, the Authority has continued to develop the commercial model and wishes to provide an update to the market via this new PIN. Tender documents are not available at this time and this updated PIN is for information purposes only. Lot 1: The Department has published this PIN to provide an update on the planned procurement approach, as described below. These remain subject to internal approvals and the Department reserves the right to make amendments, or to not proceed with the procurement.<br/><br/>PROCUREMENT APPROACH<br/>The procurement will follow a single stage procurement under the light touch regime rules, as described in Regulations 74 to 77 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This decision has been made based on the core services required being CPV code 79952000 - Event services. The Department reserves the right to amend any details with regards to the proposed approach if necessary.
