Peterborough City Council wishes to engage with suppliers that offer Season Winter food and entertainment to understand the range of events on offer and what might be the best solution for Peterborough. We would want to provide a seasonal winter offer in the city centre comprising Cathedral Square, St Johns Square, Bridge Street and Long Causeway. The operating period we are aiming is for a 6 - week period between mid-November 2024 until the first week of January 2025. We would like to meet with competent suppliers to discuss further, but our initial thoughts are to procure a concession contract for a duration of 3 years and include a Premises Licence for regulated entertainment is in place with the supply of alcohol permitted (if required) Key considerations should be given to providing a mixture as follows; Income for local authority festive market stalls food and drink stalls entertainment, low impact fun fair rides such as Ferris Wheel, carousel, children's area with Santa's Grotto small fairground rides and games Christmas dressing of stalls.
