Heritage Impact Assessment - Newcastle- under- Lyme Borough Local Plan

Tender description

1. Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council (NuLBC) is currently preparing its new Local Plan. Work on the Local Plan commenced in January 2021 and to date has included public consultation on Issues & Strategic Options in late 2021 / early 2022 and the First Draft Local Plan in July / August 2023. 2. The NuLBC First Draft Local Plan (2023) contained a suite of policies and proposed allocations as part of the consultation document. 3. A suitably qualified and experienced heritage consultant is required to prepare heritage impact assessment for a number of emerging sites in the Council's Local Plan. This will include liaison at key stages with Staffordshire County Council and Historic England at key stages, including agreement of a methodology for undertaking the work.
