Funding for Farmer Welfare

The main aim of the funding is to support projects that focus on improving farmer health and welfare and reach more farmers and farming families who need support. Defra are offering £500k for projects which support farmers’ health and welfare. The main aim of the funding is to support projects that focus on improving farmer health and welfare and reach more farmers and farming families who need support. The funding will go to farmer welfare organisations in England. Some of the funding has already been awarded. We are running a competition to allocate the remaining funding. We’ll give funding to up to four projects. The exact number will be determined by the amount and nature of applications we receive. We’ll consider individual projects or joint projects between multiple organisations. Ideally, we want to work with a range of different partners. We welcome applications for low (£50k), medium (£100k), and high price (£150k) projects. Defra will allocate funding after all applications in the application window have been received and scored.
