UKRI-3815 Landscape and Grounds Maintenance

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) Require Service Provider complete all Planned, Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and remedial works pertaining to Landscape and Grounds maintenance across STFC Estates. The three main sites covered within this requirement are: The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire (RAL), The STFC Chilbolton Observatory in Hampshire and Cosener’s House, in Abingdon. Lot 1: The aim of this procurement is to contract with a Service Provider to complete all Planned, Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and remedial works pertaining to Landscaping and Grounds maintenance across STFC Estates. The services are currently sourced via a three-year contract, which comes to the end of its agreement in October 2024. We are now seeking to contract the services on a long term. This contract is for 3 years, with an optional extension of one year starting from approximately 1st November 2024, and the agreement shall be in place until 31st October 2027 with an optional extension to 31st October 2028. A 1-month mobilisation period will take place for the Service Provider, which will commence 30th September 2024. STFC have facilities at three main sites which we require the successful Service Provider to maintain: The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in Oxfordshire (OX11 0QX) The STFC Chilbolton Observatory in Hampshire (SO20 6BJ) Cosener’s House, in Abingdon (OX14 3JD). Further details of the scope and sites will be provided at the supplier engagement days and within the Invitation to Tender pack once published. This Prior Information Notice is being issued to undertake a Supplier Engagement event split over 2 days. The first part of the Supplier Engagement Event, STFC will host on Monday 29th April at 10:00-14:00BST to present the aims and requirements of the project, the procurement process and a tour around the RAL site. The second part of the Supplier Engagement Event will take place on Tuesday 30th April where STFC will host a Site Tour at our 2 smaller sites that are included in the requirement: 10:00-11:00BST will be a site visit of The Coseners House (Abbey Close, Abingdon, Oxforshire, OX14 3JD) 13:00-14:00BST will be a site visit of Chilbolton Observatory (Drove Road, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 6BJ) There is opportunity to raise questions and STFC will request post event feedback. Please confirm that you will be attending all sessions, or please state the session(s) that you plan to attend. Please send this email no later than Wednesday 24th April at 14:00. With information regarding getting to the sites/parking being sent Friday 26th April. Two attendees from each supplier organisation are permitted.
