GB-Middlesbrough: Lightning Projection Installations

Tender description

This project comprises the installation of several new lightning protection systems to protect existing buildings on the Teesside University campus. The lightning protection contractor shall design, supply, install and test a complete lightning protection system to the buildings (as listed) to comply with the recommendations of BS EN 62305 (Parts 1 to 4) Protection Against Lightning. The specialist contractor shall carry out a risk assessment to determine the levels of risk and provide an appropriate classification of lightning protection system. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
