Tender description

NHS England (NHSE) are commencing a tender to support the provision for Population Health Fellowship Accreditation for Qualification and Delivery. The aim of this procurement is to identify a provider to support the development of local expertise in population health to meet the NHS Long term workforce plan ambition. Since the pandemic, there has been an even stronger emphasis on the role the NHS should play in the prevention and reduction of health inequalities. Population health is an approach aimed at improving the health of an entire population. It is about improving the physical and mental health outcomes and wellbeing of people, whilst reducing health inequalities within and across a defined population. It includes action to reduce the occurrence of ill health, including wider determinants of health, and requires working with communities and partner agencies. This is an exciting opportunity to support NHS England with this provision. The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £465,000 Exclusive of Vat (Capped £3,000 per Learner & Supported Development Cost) and the contract period will be for three (3) years, with an option to extend by an additional two (2) years subject to a review of performance and available budget. The deadline for completed ITT submissions will be 18th April 2024 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.
