Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) are undertaking a review of Health Professional Education and Training Services delivered to NHS Wales. HEIW are seeking to procure Ultrasound Education and Training. Lot 1: HEIW is seeking to commission a part-time Blended learning for; Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits) over 2 years, which is accredited by Consortium for the Accreditation of Sonographic Education, (CASE), and Postgraduate Certificate (PgCert) Ultrasound, 1 year, part time (60 credits) to increase and enhance provision of sonography education in Wales to support the rising service demand. The procurement will aim to address the increased demand for ultrasound education in Wales, with a national shortage of NHS sonographers.. Contract Commencement(Effective Date):2nd January 2025. Implementation period: 2nd January 2025 - the day immediately before Services Commencement Date Services Commencement Period: 2nd January 2025 - 30th November 2025 and will continue until the expiry of the contract unless extended under the provisions of the Contract being, option to extend for 2 years in two 12-month intervals
