NWSSP are currently in the planning stages of the renewal for the Surgeons Gloves agreement. It is the intent of this PIN notice to determine the regulatory and technical abilities within the Surgeons Gloves market. The current agreement is for the provision of Surgeons Gloves for the following requirements: Latex surgical gloves & under gloves, Enhanced sensitivity latex surgical gloves & under gloves, Enhanced grip latex surgical gloves & under gloves, Polychloroprene surgical gloves & under gloves, Enhanced sensitivity polychloroprene surgical gloves & under gloves, Enhanced grip polychloroprene surgical gloves & under gloves, Polyisoprene surgical gloves & under gloves, Enhanced sensitivity polyisoprene surgical gloves and under gloves, Enhanced grip polyisoprene surgical gloves & under gloves and Polyisoprene & polychloroprene surgical gloves & under gloves. The current agreement has been awarded on the basis of a multi-supplier framework. NWSSP procurement Services have not yet determined whether the renewal for the Surgical Gloves agreement will be awarded utilising the same lotting or framework structure as we are still in the planning stages.
