Tender description
The Highland Council will be looking to tender for a Sole Supplier for the Supply and Delivery of Power Tools and associated items. The Supplier will ensure all tools and associated items are Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVs) & Noise Level tested and serviced as well as provide training, and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT). Power tools and associated items must take into consideration HAV’s and noise levels in order to manage exposure and prevent occupational injuries such as HAV’s or hearing impairment for users. Therefore, all power tools, testing and servicing and training to be compliant with Health and Safety (H&S) requirements. It is intended that the Contract will be for 4-year period. The Procurement Procedure will be the use of the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPwN) – please review the Supplier Journey for more details https://www.supplierjourney.scot/supplier-journey/bid/tenders/procurement-procedures This Prior Information Notice (PIN) gives “advance notice” which will allow potential bidders to prepare themselves to bid in time for the future competition of this requirement. Further, this PIN is also to identify interested parties ahead of publication of the Tender and requires bidders to express an interest. The Contract Notice for future competition of this requirement will be published on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS).
