PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY TERMS OF REFERENCE<br />The consultant/company is required to deliver on either of the following, <br />1. High quality footage for broadcast or non-broadcast production. Closely working with the Communications team, produce videos/short videos for website and social media using the footages collected from the field visits and events. <br />2. High-quality photos that can be re-produced in print, multi-media and online formats. These could include publications, flyers, posters, banners, films, presentations, websites, CDs, etc. Produce good quality still photos from the field visits and events for use in British Council website, social media and publications and following the brand guidelines. Produce photo essays, photos stories, photo books. <br />3. Provide video livestreaming services during British Council key events.<br /><br />Photos <br />The successful photographer/videographer will be expected to deliver on the following: <br />• Photos Images will be delivered in digital formats unless hard copies are requested. Where requested, they may also be delivered in original colour or black & white prints, slides or negatives. Digital images should be taken at a minimum 1800 high-resolution, be at least 300 dpi, and approximately 2500 x 1600 pixels each. Photograph size can vary from 4x6 to 5x7.<br />• Images should be delivered in electronic format (.jpg, .png, .tiff, etc.) via secure online/Cloud platforms.<br />• Any appropriate signed Model or Property Release Forms, if a person or a private property was mainly highlighted in the photograph, shall be delivered with the Images and Caption Information. <br /><br />Videos <br />The successful photographer/videographer will be expected to deliver on the following: <br />• All videos produced must be of the highest quality to adequately represent the organisation. Film in High-Definition 1920 x 1080p <br />• All music used in the video must be properly licensed and the producer should be able to show proof if required to do so. <br />• Production of video (script writing, videography, editing, audio balancing, sub-titling, format exporting, archiving raw and edited work etc.) according to British Council standards. <br />• The contractors shall use their own HD quality video camera and professional editing software. <br />• Edit the footage in line with the script agreed and approved by British Council focal person and produce a professional quality package / report / PSA of broadcast quality. <br />• Record and edit narration / voice over where needed in according with guidance from relevant British Council focal person. <br />• Embed sub-titles in the video as per need. <br />• Audio balance the final product and convert it in formats for use on TV, radio, web.<br />• Clearly identify location, name and age of interviewees, quotes, and any relevant details <br />• Include appropriate British Council branding and crediting of British Council ownership for the produced videos. <br />• Archive the edited output in DV and DVD format along with professional log. <br />• Raw footage of video undertaken in the field. <br />• Interviews with story focal points – translated. <br />• Any appropriate signed Model or Property Release Forms, if a person or a private property was mainly highlighted in the video, shall be delivered with Caption Information. <br /><br />Video hosting and livestreaming <br />The Consultant will carry out the following tasks during the live event, <br />• Arrange a multi-camera set up with a control station to record proceedings and also live stream the event to the British Council social media channels. <br />• Provide and ensure a stable internet link for live streaming. <br />• Install and manage the sound system for the event (for livestreaming and video purposes only) <br />• Provide and manage a backup power source where required.<br />• Provide and manage a backup internet connection to act as back up to the regular connection. <br />• Record all proceedings and avail the recording to British Council.<br /><br />Qualifications and experience <br />• Excellent photography and videography skills. <br />• Proven experience in working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro (have valid Adobe Cloud license) etc. <br />• Experience working for international organisations. <br />• Ability to deliver high quality work even when under pressure. <br />• Outstanding communication skills. <br /><br />Financial Proposal <br />The financial proposal shall specify an all-inclusive fee per video product, which should include filming charges, transportation expenses, postproduction, as well as crediting, subtitling and voiceover. <br />The Financial Proposal should be in local currency as per the description below: <br />• Video 30 - 60 sec <br />• Video 60 - 120 sec <br />• Video 120-180 sec <br />• Video 5 -10 min <br />• Video 15-20 min <br />
