Tender description

The Council is seeking to engage a consultant (or consultants) to deliver the programme activity outlined in the specification document. Content themes and key messages will be discussed and agreed with the project board.<br />This project will be delivered over four strands of work:<br />A professional family literacy development programme to deliver intensive family learning, reading and sharing activities to particularly support children due to start school in Sept 24 and Sept 25.<br />A programme of training for library staff including a toolkit of resources for use in sessions to embed good practice following on from the intensive programme<br />Purchase of new early years book collections for all libraries including titles which reflect and respond to Croydon’s cultural diversity and languages spoken<br />A joint communication programme encouraging parents to use the libraries and support their children to be school ready, delivered in partnership with Best Start and public health services <br />
