Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework

National Highways are considering putting in place a new procurement vehicle that will continue to deliver the Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction programme. Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework will consist of 2 Lots (Lot 1 and Lot 2) and include: - demolition of existing concrete pavements​ - construction of new pavement to meet National Highways standards - changes to or replacement of associated assets as required - Principal Designer duties​ when instructed - preliminary design solution - detailed design solution ​ - Principal Contractor duties​ when instructed - traffic management​ - provision of welfare facilities​ - public and stakeholder engagement and communications Additional information: National Highways intends to hold a market engagement event on 20 March 2024 to share details of the Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework procurement. The event has been provisionally booked from 09:30 with an allocated time of three hours delivered via Microsoft Teams. Suppliers are invited to express their interest by sending an email with their contact details of their proposed attendees to LegacyConcreteRoads@nationalhighways.co.uk no later than 13 March 2024. Meeting invites with full joining instructions will be issued to the provided contacts prior to the event.
