South Lanarkshire Council requires to appoint a suitable supplier for the Supply & Delivery of Janitorial Products on behalf of Community & Enterprise's Facilities Waste and Grounds Services. South Lanarkshire Council have an ongoing requirement to appoint a suitable supplier for the Supply & Delivery of Janitorial Products on behalf of Community and Enterprise’s Facilities Services. The Council’s Procurement Service have identified a suitable and accessible Framework as follows: Scotland Excel Framework (SXL) for the Supply and Delivery of Janitorial Products (SE1222): Lot 1 – Paper Products Lot 2 – Janitorial Products Lot 3 – Chemicals Lot 4 – One-Stop-Shop The Framework arrangements are in place for the period 1 March 2023 to 28 March 2027 with no option to extend (OJEU Reference Number: 2020/S 035-083929). This framework will provide Councils and other participating bodies with a mechanism to procure a range of products including paper-towels, cleaning chemicals, hand-soap, refuse sacks, cleaning equipment such as mops and buckets and sanitary products. The Council conducted a Direct Award under the Scotland Excel Framework per the pre-defined selection procedure under the framework where the Council had suitable justification to award a contract to Alliance Disposables Ltd. This was under Lot 4 - One-stop Shop as they would represent best value to South Lanarkshire Council.
