Call for Tender for the development of a bespoke business intelligence service for the Irish seafood sector

The primary purpose of this tender is to support BIM in the development of its business intelligence services for the Irish seafood industry. BIM has been working extensively with all sectors of the seafood supply chain from aquaculture producers to fishermen and processors. One of the key gaps that has been identified is the need for timely and accurate business information and dissemination of this information to stakeholders. Business intelligence (BI) systems are critical to help companies to make informed decisions by providing a comprehensive view of data. This, in turn, can lead to improved operational efficiency, better strategic planning, and a competitive advantage in the marketplace. BI tools are used across various industries and are crucial for organisations looking to harness the power of their data to gain insights and make data-driven decisions. The seafood sector in Ireland has not traditionally been at the forefront of using BI.
