The provision of a specialised Fleet Management Service ensures that all HMCG vehicles are fit for purpose and deliver an effective 24/7, 365 operational response requirement with minimal reduction in service quality whilst maintaining value for money. Lot 1 of the CCS Vehicle Lease, Fleet Management & Salary Sacrifice Car Schemes (RM6268) Framework, which includes lease of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and additional services such as wider fleet management to include service maintenance and breakdown recovery services, has been identified by Coastguard Resources as the optimal route to market. Fleet Management Service are an essential organisational requirement based on a strategic decision for MCA vehicles to be managed by a specialised and efficient service provider. The requirement is for a comprehensive fleet management and maintenance package to ensure reliability of HM Coastguards fleet of vehicles, specialist vehicles and trailers.
