Limerick City and County Council Socio Economic Assessment for Active Travel Schemes in Limerick.

Limerick City and County Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified entities for the Socio Economic Assessment of Old Cratloe Rd Active Travel scheme. This project is a key piece of infrastructure in terms of linking the Northern Distributor Road to TUS and providing residents alternative modes of transport in accessing the City Centre. Currently Active Travel have numerous projects in the north side of the city. The Active Travel Scheme in the area are as listed below.  Old Cratloe Rd – Currently at preliminary design  TUS to City –Planning Approved and currently at detail design  Brookeville Avenue recently completed  Ennis Road – Currently at preliminary design A tender to compile a Socio and Economic Report on the Old Cratloe Road and combined effect of these schemes noted above is sought.
