Young People's Pathway Move Through Service - South

This an accommodation-based service for young people between the age of 18-25 years. This Move service in the South of the borough of Camden is the final stage of the Young People's Pathway which provides young people with visiting support service by staff. The service is provided from two locations, the first location has 33 units across a mixture of 1,2,3 and 4 bed flats with an office for staff as well as a concierge for safety and security. The second location provides 20 units in 1,2,3 and 4 bed flats. The service provides young people with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are able to understand and manage the responsibilities of a Council tenancy and are ready to be nominated for their Care Leaving Points in order to bid for Council accommodation. Lot 1: The service was procured using a robust negotiation process with the incumbent provider, Origin Housing. The process required the provider to submit a formal proposal in response to the award criteria. Responses had to meet a minimum score of 3 out of 5 for each question. A panel of experienced officers in the Council were required to evaluate the proposal and scores were moderated by the Procurement Team prior to award of contract.
