Wheeled Loader Vehicle

Tender description

The London Borough of Hackney is seeking to purchase one Wheeled Loader vehicle, meeting the specification detailed below. The vehicle required is an articulated wheeled loader for use within an enclosed waste transfer station, capable of high lifting of 2.5 m3 bucket with light domestic loads tipping into 40m3 skip containers. It will be highly manoeuvrable within a turning radius of 5675mm, a low emission diesel engine and hydraulic equipment control through single joystick. Servicing The Council would like to enter into a five year service contract for the vehicle, based on the assumption that the machine is operated for 2000 hours annually. Servicing will be carried out at the Council's main operating site, and the supplier will be flexible and responsive regarding any queries or issues. The supplier will work closely with the Fleet Management Unit on the arrangements for servicing and will provide regular communication and updates. Warranty Supplier to provide costs for a three year full ('bumper to bumper') warranty. The Council may not take up all three years.
