Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites tenders from experienced and competent service providers to apply for 2 lots within this tender; Lot 1. The Guildhall Café concessionary – provision of sustainable, quality catering. Museum and Visitor Service venues aim to sustain a reputation for excellent customer service, and good quality locally sourced food to reflect the prestige and quality experience of visiting such a unique property. Lot 2. Informal catering provision for Visitor Services (Guildhall, Tower Museum and Harbour House). The types of events that will require informal catering range from meetings and conferences to book launches, informal weddings and mayoral receptions. Event organisers will be provided with the catering supplier contact details to liaise directly on requirements. The DCSDC Chamber and Mayor’s catering requirements are mandatory and the successful applicant must prioritise these services at all times. Tenderers are invited to apply for either or both lots. A separate return must be made for each lot being applied for, including full responses to selection and award criteria. A list of reserve suppliers may be generated from unsuccessful applicants and on occasion where the appointed supplier (Lot 2) cannot provide catering the contact details for the reserve list may be passed on to clients.
