Supply of Equipment for Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Phase 2 Apprenticeship Course

Waterford Training Centre requires equipment for the Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Phase 2 Apprenticeship Course including LGV Brake Training Rigs, HGV Hydraulic Clutch Trainers and HGV Air Over Hydraulic Clutch Trainers. Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board invites responses (“Tenders”) to this Request for tenders (“RFT”) from economics operators (“Tenderers”) for participation in a specific contract for supply of the goods and related services (together referred to in this RFT as “the goods” as described under Section 4.1 Requirements and Specification of the RFT). Delivery of equipment will be in the HMV Section, Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board, Waterford Training Centre, Waterford Business Park, Cork Road, Waterford. The equipment is intended for use in Waterford Training Centre and must be of construction, materials and finish which are suitable for this use. This is to include supply of comprehensive training manuals, after sales support and maintenance where required. The tender is divided into 3 Lots. Tenderers may submit proposals for one or more lots and must be clear on which lots they are tendering for in their response. The minimum contract awarded will be one Lot. The quantities may also be varied depending on the funding available. Tenderers may tender for one or several lots. There may also be a requirement to purchase this equipment for other courses in the Waterford training centre or other centres.
