Tender description

Block BC was recently constructed as part of a major new development in Ulster University’s Belfast Campus. The block was handed over to the University in September 2022. This Contract is being let to maintain Block BC’s Wet Pipe Sprinkler Fire Suppression system. The Contractor will be responsible for the inspection, servicing and certification of all Sprinkler system equipment/components to comply with BS EN 12845, LPC Rules and Manufacturer’s recommendations this includes, • Weekly Sprinkler Valve / Fire Pump Test • Monthly Sprinkler Inspections • Quarterly Sprinkler Inspections • Semi-annual Sprinkler Inspection • Annual Sprinkler Inspection • Annual Service of Fire Pumps • Semi-annual Inspection of Fire Pumps • Annual Diesel Fire Pump Coolant Change The Contractor must provide a 24-hour call out service for reactive maintenance and repairs 365 days per year including Bank Holidays. Call out rates shall be submitted in Document 6 – Commercial Submission and remain valid for the duration of this Contract. The following callout response times shall apply for the duration of this Contract, • Standard Call Out: 4 hours from notification • Emergency Call Out: 1 hours from notification The Contractor must have a permanently supported email address to receive any request logged on the CAFM system and provide telephone numbers for normal and out of hours operation.
