SE - CDF Lot 1 - Thames Barrier Fire Signage Engineer The Thames Barrier Team manage and operate the Thames Barrier and associated gates flood defences which protect 125 sq kilometres of central London from flooding. They are in the process of upgrading all fire systems including fire detection and passive protection systems. The most recent Fire Safety Risk Assessment (held in 2022) has recommended that EA review their fire signage, partly to reflect current and future site changes and partly to reflect changes in fire legislation. The Fire Signage has not been reviewed or updated for over a decade and requires assessment and updating. The objective is to assess the fire signage across the Thames Barrier and Associated Gates and make recommendations on any non-compliance found.
