Search is highly complex and there are many interrelated elements that go into making learning resources findable and discoverable. Search needs to be maintained and monitored. Adjustments are needed as the needs and types of end users and new content increase. The development of UX/UI and of digital experiences according to researched needs, is inextricably linked to Search and the types of data and metadata that it exploits. The contract includes the licences, support & maintenance of the Search service, including the upgrading to the latest i3 platform version. This also includes a dashboard to show and monitor the platform performance and status. Alerts highlight any service, system, or server faults.
